Ensuring That Your Puppy Pictures Are Internet-Ready

Taking pictures of your pet is one of the most satisfying experiences you will have together with them. If you think that showering your dog with attention is enough to prove their place in the family, then you might need to think of something else to show your love to these adorable creatures.

In truth, you can use their pictures to tell the world that they are part of the family. Instead of just placing them on tables or walls in your home, you can do so much to increase their reputation by placing their pictures on the Web.
But before you can start on this project, however, there are some things you need to take care off first to ensure that you only upload the highest quality pet pictures to so that your visitors will enjoy your their beauty. Here are some factors that you need to address to get this done:
1. Photo Quality
You might want to edit your puppy pictures to ensure that they are of good quality when you publish them on the Web. We can never deny the fact that we are fond of amateur shots of our pets, and some of the photos we get might not be that nice to look at on the Internet. A solution to this is to edit your puppy pictures using photo-editing software. Here are some parts of the photo that you might want to change:
• Give your puppy photos an increase in brightness when the pictures are taken in a low-light setting • Remove any noises that will mar the overall quality of the picture • Heighten the color by adjusting the brightness and contrast setting • Some lighting effects to give it a little bit of style for added appeal
2. Reduce The File Size
When taking pictures using a digital camera, the image file size might be too large to upload to your Web site. The file sizes ranges from 1MB to as high as 5MB depending on the camera setting used.
Using a photo-editing application, you might want to convert these pictures to other image formats to reduce its file size. Common image formats being used on the Web that has a smaller file size includes JPEG, GIF, and PNG. Avoid uploading bitmap (BMP) since the photos in these formats are lower in quality, yet have a higher file size than the others.
3. Change The Height And The Width
If the height and width of your puppy pictures are too big for your screen when they are posted on your Web site, then you might want to change the size to ensure that they are view-friendly when they are opened up.
In most cases, the lowest resolution of monitors being used today are 800X600, so you might want to reduce your image height and width to a few pixels lower to ensure that your visitors will be able to view them without scrolling.
